How was everybody’s weekend? I had a weekend packed full of adventure. Saturday was spent at the movies seeing Trainspotting 2 (This will be discussed more on Thursday…). I then spent the rest of the day at Americana. If you don’t know what Americana is, it a yearly event where people enter their American cars. They can be new, vintage, unusual, yellow school buses, police cars, etc. They shut down the main road of whatever town they happen to be in and theirs food stalls, bands and just a general good day for the family. Although I don’t have much interest in cars, it’s always fun just to stroll around in the atmosphere of it all.
It’s officially November….. I feel like I just blinked and suddenly it’s the end of the year and nearly Christmas! Oh well, at least Christmas gives me more excuses to bake some more yummy treats.
The beginning of November also means Halloween has now been and gone. Did you celebrate Halloween? Dress up or watch scary movies?
I didn’t actually do anything for Halloween apart from watch a couple of scary movies and munch on these Bleeding Gooey Butter Cake Stuffed Chocolate Cookie Cups but that isn’t out of the ordinary for me! Eating and watching movies is one of my favourite past times.
However, after Halloween I know a lot of you will have leftover candies and chocolates filling up your shelves so I have created the perfect recipe for you. These Leftover Halloween Candy Blondies are my favourite blondie recipe (also featured here and here) packed full of different candy bars and confectionery. These are ooey gooey, a chocolate lovers dream and completely over-the-top delicious!
This is the easiest and most adaptable recipe you will ever find! This Cookies and Cream Rocky Road is packed full of confectionery, cookies and cream chocolate, Oreos, marshmallows and then smothered in melted chocolate. This is simple, no bake and takes just five minutes to make. The hardest part is letting it set before diving right into the pan!
This rocky road is seriously amazing! I can’t even count the number of times I have made this. I’ve made it with my friends, for party’s and just for myself and it never ceases to impress people – myself included! This rocky road is like biting into a chocolate bar. A chocolate bar packed full of cookies and cream flavours and marshmallows.
Whats better than soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies? Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie cups! What’s better than chocolate chip cookie cups? Peanut Butter Nutella Filled Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups!
That’s right, today not only are we filling chocolate chip cookie cups with peanut butter, but we’re taking Nutella and throwing that in the middle too because, well, we can.
You may have seen my Nutella Stuffed Blondie Cups and my Peanut Butter Stuffed Blondie Cups that I have posted on my blog previously. (If you haven’t check them out because they are life changing.) After playing around with turning blondies into cups with the Nutella and peanut butter ooey, gooey centers, I wondered what it would be like with the two flavours combined. However, I didn’t want to just put them into blondie cups again because that seemed a bit like cheating for a recipe so I thought I would try the flavours out in a cookie.
